10 books that stuck with me this year
also my 2025 ins & outs

It’s the first of my series of more personal updates since launching the Filter Feeder Contributor Network. Yay, hi!
So it’s the end of 2024. And that’s wild, but also to be expected. When I was younger I was always really set on new years being totally fresh starts, but as I’ve gotten older I don’t feel that way anymore. At least, I don’t think I do. I’m working on embracing the slow days at the end of the year as a time to take inventory, both physically and mentally. What does my space look like? How do I feel about my daily habits and routines? What kinds of things did I consume this year, both in a monetary and a media sense? What are the things I’ve been putting off doing or changing?
I’m still working on that last question in particular, but in the meantime, I wanted to share a recap of my year in books with you. But first: my silly little ins and outs for 2025. (Let me know yours!)
