A few things to know:
We typically open submissions the first of the month and close them on the 30th(ish). But hey, if you’re here earlier than usual and the form + theme are available … feel free to submit away :~)
You can indicate with your submission whether or not you’d like feedback on your submitted piece(s)! We definitely don’t want to heavily edit, change, or strip down your core ideas, but we would love to support you in making your creative work even stronger where possible.
Looking for a collaborator on a piece/project? Let us know, and we’ll plug you into our network!
If accepted, we’ll work with you to figure out if your submission will be shared here on the Filter Feeder newsletter, in a quarterly print zine, or on social media (or a combination).
Above all, we want to amplify your unique perspective through whatever format you’re most excited to share in — writing, art, multimedia, or really anything else we can figure out a way to embed into this newsletter.
