📍 Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve | Ancestral Tongva & Acjachemen Lands

Bolsa Chica Mesa — the area right above the wetlands — continues to be a sacred place for Acjachemen & Tongva communities today. In 2023, part of the Bolsa Chica Mesa was returned to Indigenous stewardship — the first land return to tribal communities in Orange County.
